Chelan Market Fresh: Your Local Grocery Store for Fresh Produce and Delicious Deli Options

We visited on a Sunday to check out “hot food” items. We ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and 4 pork tamales (available weekends only). The grocery store is pretty well-stocked with friendly staff. We came back the next day since we forgot a couple more items and was surprised they had it in the produce section- chayote :) Cider Press Sparkling Apple Cider ($18) was 10/10! We have yet tried the honey bottle ($18) but I’m sure it’ll be just as good. P.S. Just be mindful that wherever there’s hot food, most especially deep fried, option inside any store, you will walk out of it smelling like grease!

The staff are always so nice when I go in! Plus being an employee there over the summers, it’s a great working environment and I absolutely love it there!

2025 Update: 5 stars from 4 They changed the frier oil and now have skin on fries. Fantastic! Best supermarket burger ever. Not as good as say BK or Ronalds, but this town has zero ff chains. Got the street taco plate ($10, fri-sun) highly recommended! I used to hate cilantro, and they pile it on, but it's tasty! Comes with the standard sides: two small cups of salsa, radishes, limes, and a delicious roasted pepper! During the busy lunch time, expect to wait 10 mins for the tacos, 15 for the burgers. 10% off booze on Thursdays! Don't forget to tip the friendly staff. Human cashier's, refreshing! Great prices on apples, no need to bring any from home. ----- Stellar deli that serves made to order burger baskets and fries. Biggest selection of burritos, corn dogs and the like that I've seen. Would be 5 stars except that they -really- need to change the fryer oil, and the lettuce on my burgers (bought two separate days) tasted a bit off.

Great smaller grocery store -- and less busy (so shorter lines and easier parking) than the Safeway down the street. They have a deli, and a lot of local wines (which Safeway does not). They have good produce as well, and an excellent beer selection. The prices are good, too.

This is the favorite market for the locals. They have a great selection of fresh meat and they make their own cider and beer infused brats. Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables as well. This is the best place to get them in Chelan. Great place to get fresh salsa, behind the counter, large selection of local wines, and they also make lunch to order, burgers, burritos, and other things. They also have great shakes.

Callie made my day. I thought I was going to have to make a trip to Wenatchee for horse radish. Callie directed me to some very fresh horse radish. Thanks again great shopping experience.

This is a great little grocery store with a robust enough selection that there's really no need to go to Safeway, and the produce is superior, the seafood too. There's a small kitchen in the back offering modest selection of breakfast items, burgers, and Mexican. They make their own nachos chips. The lunchtime crowd was mostly locals and robust. The wine selection is expansive, to say the least.

The IGA is strong on this one. Good meats and conveniently located.. you shop you like. Standard American burgers are awlright when cheeseburger minded.
